An incredible charter day with Giles on Carmen Rose. Giles is super friendly and obliging. We enjoyed a champagne breakfast at Swanpool, swam to our own secluded beach, explored the creeks of the Helford River, stopped for a pub lunch and cruised back across the bay. The boat is clean, tidy, comfortable and looks amazing. The area is also beautiful, so much to see and do. All in all, it was the best day we've ever had on the water in Cornwall. If you ever get the chance to do it, you absolutely should!

I spend a lot of time on boats with different skippers and Giles is a very competent, easy going and skilled skipper.
Exploring the river and heading down the coast with a few friends is a real pleasure aboard this vessel. It’s a really different enjoyable day out and experiencing the area from the water is a fantastic experience and offers a different perspective than from land. The boat is very stable, comfortable and fast. Treat yourself and your family or get together with a bunch of friends and have a day out with Giles. I would highly recommend a day onboard.

Thank you Giles for the most amazing trip on your beautiful boat. Not having been on a boat before, you were brilliant at putting us all at ease and making us feel very safe, comfortable and happy. It was fabulous being taken to so many different inlets, beaches and all along the coast. Seeing Falmouth from the sea was awesome and eventually taking us to the fabulous Pandora Inn for lunch, was perfect. What a lovely way to spend a day. Can't wait to tell all our friends of our amazing adventure and show them all our brilliant pictures. Will definitely be recommending your trips and cant wait to come down to Mylor again and join you for another adventure. Thank you Giles.

Brilliant trip this morning. We went up the Fal, then out past Falmouth and St Mawes. Giles tailored the trip so there was some fast speedboat action for the kids, and we stopped off for lovely swim. Giles was super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Had a brilliant day out with Giles to celebrate Deb's birthday. Terrific boat the Carmen Rose! Fabulous host! Thanks for the Prosecco Giles, Debs enjoyed the swim, even if it was a bit cold! Anchored off the beach just chilling out, how lovely was that! A really special day and worth every penny. We will do it again. Just need an excuse!!!

We had an amazing afternoon out on the beautiful Carmen Rose, with a very knowledgeable skipper Giles, exploring the Falmouth area. We anchored near a beautiful quiet beach and went for a dip in the sea. Highly recommend this special treat!

I wanted to treat family visiting and to do something different. Luckily for me I found Giles online and booked. I have been lucky enough to have been on many boat tours. Even taking a sailing boat to the Great Barrier Reef. What Giles gives is the personal touch. The boat is immaculate with plenty of space. We were given a guided tour of the coast then anchored up for a swim in the sea. Nothing was to much trouble. I can only repeat what a member of the family said at the end. "That is what life is about memories like that". I cannot recommend this enough. Thanks Giles for the memories you have created.

Giles is hands down the best host and provides a truly tailored experience. I was panicking because I hadn’t scheduled a boat experience on my son’s wish list and it was two nights before our vacation was ending. I phoned Giles and he scheduled us in for a beautiful late afternoon tour the following day. I discovered a hidden gem! We had a tour of coves, a secluded church on the water, a swimfor my boys, and Giles even had a bottle of bubbly on hand when I was lamenting that I hadn’t had time to stop and get some on the way. If you are in Cornwall or just visiting- a tour with Giles will make the day unique and memorable. It was the perfect way for our family to close a fabulous week in Cornwall. And if that isn’t enough - the story of how he named his boat the Carmen Rose will warm your heart. Thank you Giles!
